I don't say the Simple Medium Linear Motor won't change for sure and it will stay, but at this point it's virtually impossible to get a 100% accurate information from anyone about it. ![]() The Zetros was in retired status for weeks in December/January in the central European countries, now it's available again. The status and visibility might also change from region to region.Ĥ5303 is currently shown as retired btw in the US shop (and some other regions), but even this does not mean anything nowadays. 42124 disappeared for weeks last year, also the dump PU battery box, both came back after a while. Not sure if it is related to the production shortage, but apparently TLG prefers to simply pull them instead of showing everything as out of stock. PU motors (and even Control+ sets) have a tendency to vanish from for days or even weeks. ![]() The updated BI and Bricks & Pieces both show the current motor with the 6290182 ID. The new LEGO Powered Up motors available individually include the 88011 LEGO Powered Up Train Motor for 13.99 (while the new train motor looks very similar to the old one, it was upgraded with the new LEGO Powered Up connector), the 88008 LEGO Powered Up Medium Linear Motor for 16.99, and the 45303 LEGO Powered Up Simple Medium Linear. I don't think the Medium motor will be replaced in the set. ![]() Possibly, it may have a single (unknown for me) reason. The currently prodused set 42129 Zetros uses this motor amon other modern-PU ones, and now, since the set is under review-redesign to add srews to the battery Block lid locks, this motor may be replaced too.
